By completing the opt-in form at johnbasilio.com and checking the consent box, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not subscribe to SMS notifications.

1. Service Description

I am an independent consultant who sends informational SMS messages to clients who opt in via the web form at johnbasilio.com. Messages include project updates, status alerts, and reminders related to ongoing consulting engagements. Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

2. Eligibility

By completing the opt-in form at johnbasilio.com, you represent that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You are a resident of the United States
• The phone number you provide is your own and you are authorized to receive SMS messages at that number
• You have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy

3. Consent to Receive SMS Messages (Informational Only)

By providing your phone number on johnbasilio.com and checking the consent box (unchecked by default), you give your express consent to receive informational SMS messages only:

• Message types: Project updates, status alerts, and reminders related to your consulting engagement.
• Purpose: To keep you informed about your consulting project. No promotional or marketing content is sent under this consent.

Promotional or marketing messages would require separate express written consent and are not part of this opt-in.

4. Message Frequency and Rates

• Informational messages are sent as needed based on project activity
• Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan
• I am not responsible for any charges from your carrier

5. Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by:

After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

7. Accuracy of Information

The SMS notification service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. I do not guarantee that messages will be delivered successfully, as delivery depends on your mobile carrier and device. I am not liable for any delays or failures in message delivery.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the SMS notification service.

10. Modifications to Terms

I reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the SMS service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
